By Margarita Felices

Have you ever worried that life has passed you by? They do say that life begins at forty.
When Nicci Lace woke up one day and wondered where her life had gone, she never counted on what would happen to her next?
What if you had the chance to jet off with someone famous that picked you over all those beautiful models?
Ordinary you!

It seems life really does begin at forty after all.

Some reviews...

By Alison Loris on June 15, 2015Format: Paperback Verified PurchaseI loved this story of a young woman who thinks her love life is over because she's not one of "those size two models with skinny bodies, pouty lips and perfect skin." But even a rock star sometimes wants more than an empty head in a perfect body. Sometimes he wants a woman who's real.

By L. RIEKE on June 26, 2015Format: Kindle Edition Verified PurchaseI really liked this story and highly recommend it. I started out not liking Jaxon all that well, but he grew on me and in the end I thought his character was well thought out. Nicci also is a terrific character and I felt for what she goes through in the story. When the tense conflict happened I was pissed and cried along with her. As I previously said, I highly recommend this story.

By Krystal Stubbs on December 16, 2015Format: Kindle EditionThis book was wonderful! It is written wonderfully. the way Nicci thinks is the way a lot of women, including me, think of themselves. It shows true feelings, thoughts and actions of people in relationships, not some made up fairytale romance story.
Nicci Lace is the main character. She is in a dead end job that she does not like, has no real friends to hang out with and is older (not young twenties). She believes that she is not worth much, but others can see that she is. Until one day she meets Jaxon, and he turns her world upside down.
