5 Stars for Trancers by Margarita Felices!

This book is creepy!

First off, I want everyone to know, my favorite genre is Horror

You can say I'm a little picky when it comes to reviewing a new horror book. I've read way too many that were not scary to me.
I like a book to creep me out...make me think of what I was just reading.

Trancers is page after page of heart thumping anticipation.
This book never slows down, it keeps you interested until the very end.

I liked Travis right-away,
and the writing created the perfect picture to where Travis went in the story.
The Trancers were pretty creepy too!

I gave Trancers 5 stars!

ABOUT ME.
I live in Cardiff with my partner and three little mad dogs and I work for a well-known TV broadcasting company. I love living in Cardiff because, for all its modernisation, there are still remnants of an old Victorian city. I love writing and base my stories in Cardiff because it has such character. When I can, I go out to the coast and take photographs, mind you, we have a lovely castle in the city centre and a fairytale one just on the outskirts, so when I feel I can't write anything, I take a ramble to those locations and it clears my head.
I suppose it was inevitable that someday I would write a novel. My teachers at school used to limit me to no more than ten pages. When I left school, I wrote short stories for magazines, and it paid my way through college. I am Gothic, I love the fashion, the architecture and the music. The club in my novel is real. When I was writing book one, I got all my club material and clientèle from here, I wouldn't have finished that section without it.

My review for Goth Girl, Virgin Queen by, JoAnne Keltner

This story is a keeper!

Jackie is sadly like a lot of kids in high school, teased for being different.
Even though her issues are different I can see a lot of teens being able to relate to Jackie and understand why she hides herself from everyone.

Jackie Turov is special. But sadly due to an incident when she was younger, has made her hide her "gifts" and shield herself from everyone around her. Even one of her so called "friends" betrays her and that's when Jackie's life begins to get really interesting.

This is a great Paranormal story! It was easy to read and I really liked the main character, Jackie. This is a YA book but, as an adult, I had no problem liking it too.

I'm hoping there is more to Jackie's story in a book two...hint hint:)

I recommend this book to anyone looking for a new YA Paranormal.

I give Goth Girl, Virgin Queen

4 Stars!!

Calling Jackie Turov psychic makes her cringe. But Jackie’s no normal seventeen-year-old. She picks up emotions from people and objects like a freak. The emotions make her sick, and the guilt she feels for lying to her church when she was twelve causes her to deny her psychic abilities.

So Jackie goes goth to make others stay away from her and forget her past. But her past is soon resurrected when her jealous friend Trish invites a demon, a persecutor of healers, to steal away Jason’s love for Jackie. The demon causes Jackie to be bullied for the lie she told and puts her best friend, Jason, in danger.

Jackie must learn how to use her gift to protect Jason and herself and to heal the negative energies of those around her. To do so means she must overcome her guilt and accept who she is before the demon claims her soul.

JoAnne Keltner is the author of Goth Girl, Virgin Queen (Solstice Publishing, 2015) and Obsession (Musa Publishing, 2013 ed.). As an only child and avid daydreamer, she spent hours alone in her backyard on the South Side of Chicago, which she imagined to be everything from an alien planet to Antarctica. She currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her husband, four dogs, cat, and three chickens. When she isn’t writing or freelance editing, she’s obsessively streaming popular TV shows.

My review on Seasons of Love by Nybel

First off, I want to start by saying... WOW.
This would make a great Soap Opera!

It was dark, twisted, sexy and caught my attention from beginning to end.
I couldn't help but love or hate the characters in this story.

I was on a emotional roller coaster and loving every minute of it!!

I'm looking forward to reading more from this author
and seeing what drama she can create next.

I highly recommend it!

5 stars

Kairys Miraj has money, power and what some people would consider a "mental illness" because of his inability to let go. Kairys doesn't just want to have his cake and eat it too... He wants to live and breathe in these two women, under the same roof, and at the same time. What Kairys doesn't anticipate is the two obstacles he will have to overcome in his home just a wing away from one another.

Yolanda Lucas has Kairys's heart, and she's everything he's ever wanted. The bond they've built over the years came from the history they shared since childhood... but nothing is perfect, and Yolanda is in for the fight of her life. What does a woman do when the man she loves most gives someone else the TWO things she intends to share with him?

Gabriella Lucas is the wild child, the outgoing and outspoken one.... but what hides below the surface? She can weather any storm. It's the calm that calls for his assistance. Her sanity isn't her own because she borrows it from him. Shame and pride has her being resistant. Gabriella love's her man but will love to be enough to put up with her crazy, violent ways?

Hasan Allen is quiet, but honestly blunt when he is speaking. He says what he wants unapologetically. He’s rough around the edges but is the sanest and knowledgeable one out of the crew. The one person that he dislikes walks into his life and makes him fall head over heels quickly. What happens when opposites attract? A love that has no bounds is what happens. Between his best friend’s drama and the chaos dealing with Gabriella, Hasan could use a break. Will the love he has for the two of them allow him to or will he be too afraid to walk away from the one he loves the most?

Tylen Lucas is young, beautiful and strongly mistaken. With her sights set on a man who should be totally off-limits, she gets way more than what she's bargain for. Tylen thought she would live out her dreams with the love of her life but finds herself stuck in a nightmare she can't seem to wake up from.

Deceit has arrived, lies will be told, love will be lost, and Kairys will make no excuses for it because what's understood doesn't have to be spoken. While Hasan just wants to love and protect his queen.

4 Stars for Feathers in the Dark by Dwane Johnson

I had a hard time writing my review for Feathers in the Dark. I was at a loss of how to describe what I felt while reading this book. So many emotions coursed through me as I got deeper and deeper into the book. It disturbed yet, intrigued me. I couldn’t stop reading, even when I could barely keep my eyes open, I just had to know what was going to happen next.
I felt like I was there in the middle of it all with Corey, Phil, Kimberly, Dexter, Larry, and Ellen, my heart beating rapidly as I waited anxiously for someone to stop the horror that was happening to this community. This is not for the weak, the criminal in this story is so monstrous, the very thought of what they do makes my stomach churn.
Dwane Johnson brings fear with the words he writes, and if you’re a horror fan like me, grab this book and see for yourself. I am looking forward to seeing what else this author can conjure up in that twisted mind of his:)

5 Stars for Backlash by T.L. Thomas

WARNING… If you start reading Backlash, you might neglect everything else in your life, and have sleepy eyes in the morning!
This book is awesome! I love Quinn Lewis. He made this book ooze adventure! If it wasn’t for Quinn and his clever ideas, the rest of the team would not have finished chapter 2.
T. L. Thomas wrote a story that has everything plus 10 that you want to find in an adventure. I could easily see this as a television series.
All the characters felt so real to me, and I held my breath as I hoped they all made it out alive. This was truly one of the best adventure books I’ve ever read, and I highly recommend this to all ages!
I was gifted with Backlash to help me create his book trailer. I wasn’t asked to write a review by the author, I just wanted to share my opinion, and hope others will appreciate this book as much as I did.

5 Stars for Heart of Eternity!

This is not a fairy tale romance, you will not find a prince in this story… But, you will find love.
The kind of love you don’t find easy, and you would fight for a chance to feel it for just a moment.
Heart of Eternity was a romance readers breath of fresh air! It’s so original yet, has all the things I enjoy in a romance novel.
Naida is wonderful! She has the heart of an angel, and the will to fight for what she believes in. I fell in love with her character right away, and hoped her high spirits would get her through her troubles.
Jay is a whole other story, he’s the dark as Naida is the light. Even though he isn’t to likeable when you are first introduced to him… I still liked him right way! I’ve always liked the bad boys, and he hits the spot as one of the baddest boys I’ve ever read.
I don’t like to give away too much in my reviews, so you will have to just read it yourself to find out why I love this book! It’s beautifully written, and I’m sure you will feel the same way.
I was gifted with this book for exchange of an honest review… well, I loved it!!!!

5 Stars!
Not your ordinary horror novel! It doesn’t have the vampires, werewolves, or a demon hiding in your closet. But who needs them when you have the monsters in this book! After you read this story,  you will never want to leave your house again.
These monsters are the one’s you least expect to hurt you, they creep into your life and before you know it… They have clawed your face off, and used your eyeballs as marbles.
Warning- This book is gruesome. I wouldn’t recommend it to your grandma. But if you are a horror fan like myself, you have to read this book! This is the first book I’ve read by Aaron Dries, and it is definitely not my last.
I was gifted with,  A Place For Sinners for exchange of an honest review, Thank You Aaron Dries!
